Are we under any obligation to praise God?

Yes!!!

Our sole purpose in life is to praise God.
To buttress more on this point, the book of psalms explains how important it is for us to praise and worship God. We can read that from psalms 33:1-22.

Talking about psalms, how important is the psalmist in our quest to praise God!! Psalms 92:1,
This wonderful Psalm is so clearly written, and so thoroughly covers the subject of praise, that little needs to be written to guide the reader into its depths and riches. The Holy Spirit. through the agency of the writer, is seeking to show us that the praise of God is not only the privilege of a Christian, but his duty as well, since it is expressly commanded by God Himself.

The Bible elsewhere tells us that the forces of nature praise Him, and that the sun, moon, stars, and the heavens themselves worship and praise their Creator. The Bible opens with what is called the "Creation Hymn," and Job speaks of the morning stars singing together at the dawn of creation. We can also read an account in Revelation describing a grand chorus of ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, that sing around the throne of God. In Heaven everybody will sing!

This is a commandment to all Christians, that they should rejoice in the Lord and praise Him in every possible way. So we see, from these passages, that praise is not to be an irregular, haphazard, or casual thing, but should be a constant, ever-present part of our daily life, and most certainly a part of our public worship of God.

In Bible times they had many instruments of music, not as mechanically perfect as ours today, perhaps, but nevertheless capable of producing sweet music and vibrant strains of melody. There were many varieties of stringed and brass instruments, among them being the harp, psaltery, flute, pipe, horn and trumpet; and in addition they had drums, timbrel, and cymbals, which are percussion instruments designed to be struck or beaten. The Psalmist David used all of these in his orchestra, which we are told numbered 4,000, that he might render effective praise to the Lord (1Chronicles 23:5 Moreover four thousand were porters; and four thousand praised the LORD with the instruments which I made, said David, to praise therewith).

 Jesus quoted the Psalms freely and referred to them many times and said that many of the things written in them were about Him. Those Psalms that especially tell of Christ's coming to earth we call the Mes-sianic Psalms.

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, 0 most High.
Regardless of our condition position, situation. We should praise God.

TIME; THE MOST VALUABLE RESOURCE

Cherish every moment you spent with the ones in your life right now because you never know if that will be the last time you'll ever see them, touch them hear there voices over the phone or read there messages or comments from other platforms...life and time works together, for me I'll say time is life, The more time we spend here the closer our lives wind to its end,.. There is time for everything they say, yes that's true but at every point in time what are we doing aside from spending the time and living the life...the Bible says there is time and season, and in this text it lays emphasis on time, For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; ...we might have issues in some areas of our lives, spiritual, finance, career, status, emotions, health, marriage. One thing I believe is that of every issues and tribulations we go through, it is for a time because it will surely pass.
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
Looking back how far I have come, through thick and thin, through wrong steps; making wrong decisions, repeated wrong decisions, shortcut to success, wasted time on so many things, loosing focus and given much importance to what I don't need at some point, I have come to understand that all through my past experiences I learned, I realized how much I could have lived it otherwise, but that is the time and season for the past, where I am and what I'm doing right now, either in pain,or happiness, regrets of my previous actions or my stand, what ever I go through right now, fear or bravery , successful or not, talented or not, achieved or underachieved, It is just a phase, a time which will change. Soon.....
Do what you know how to do best, be sincere, honest, pray day and night for everything needs prayer either good or bad pray... Pray for the good thing not to turn bad and for the bad thing to turn good.

TIME MANDATE

Time!!!
Before we talk about time let begin with, What is time..
Time is the indefinite continued progress of existence and events that occur in apparently irreversible succession from the past through the present to the future. Time is part of the fundamental structure of the universe – a dimension independent of events, in which events occur in sequence.
From the definition above we learn that time is a continued progress of existence it only goes forward doesn't go backward neither does it stop...
But in the spiritual realm time is life, as it is said we cannot run the race of the spirit with the canal mind and the energy of the flesh.
Time and discipline works together.
Are you in charge of time, how do you manage your time; do you permit time to manage you.. It is our right to manage time for our use, you don't leave time to control you... We have the mandate to rule time; because time is also one of God's creation, in the book of genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.
In between day and night there is time, and God said we should have dominion over everything over all the works of thy hands including time.
You are not to be ruled by time rather we are meant to rule time, time will imprison you if you are not careful.

I was a victim of the natural sequence of time, by the  time I realized how much time I had wasted doing nothing just roaming without purpose, I thought with time things will be okay without a proper plan,my sub consciousness was transfixed I was looking at the goal but couldn't make a move towards it because I had no plan... I was conform to the ignorance of time.
When we do the right thing at the right time in our early life then we'll tell time what to do for us, but when we waste time when we refuse to the right thing then time will tell us what to do.
At the age of 45 some are still figuring out what to do with there life, then time leaves them with no choice but to do its will.
Our life must not follow the natural sequence of time Mark 11:22 says have faith in God.. God is the author and finisher of our faith.
Tools we should watch out for that makes time dominate our lives.
Procrastination.
Ungodly love
Unmerited luck.
Disobedience.
Ignorance.
Ungodliness
Nonchalant Attitude.
With the right spirit in us we can turn around any situation with the help of God, God is waiting for us to do something right with our time for him and for ourselves because we are all created for a purpose.. GOD bless you.

SPIRITUAL MIND

But as it is written: “ Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. (1 Cor 2:9-12 NKJV)

HE THAT IS SPIRITUAL" Discerneth all things. There is no limitation upon him in the realm of the things of God. He can "freely" receive the divine revelation and he glories in it. He, too, may enter, as any other man, into the subjects which are common to human knowledge. He discerneth all things; yet he is discerned, or understood by no man. How could it be otherwise since he has "the mind of Christ?

There are two great spiritual changes which are possible to human experience—the change from the "natural" man to the saved man, and the change from the "carnal" man to the " spiritual" man. The "spiritual" man is the divine ideal in life and ministry, in power with God and man, in unbroken fellowship and blessing.
God is waiting for those who are ready to change their lives, Matthew  11:28  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

THE NATURAL MIND.

Who are you?  Are you naturally minded, Spiritually minded, or Canal minded.
Let's start with the natural mind, The book of corinthians ;
1 Corinthians  2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually Discerned.

The Bible speaks of the natural man as the person who has not received Christ as Savior.
The natural man may be defined as an individual who operates entirely on human wisdom. 
This is due to the fact that they have not made a commitment to Jesus Christ. 
They have not experienced the new birth and do not have the Holy Spirit living inside of them. Because the natural man does not have the Spirit of God living in them, they do not understand or welcome spiritual truth. It is foolishness unto them. 
Many sincere and educated people admire the Bible as literature and extoll its moral teaching-but they miss the real spiritual message of the Bible that salvation is only through the person of Jesus Christ.
The natural man" is helpless to understand things revealed because he has not received "the Spirit which is of God." He has received only "the spirit of man which is in him." Though he may, with "man's wisdom," be able to read the words, he cannot receive their spiritual meaning. To him the revelation is "foolishness." He cannot "receive" it, or "know" it. WHAT ARE YOU?? 

GET WISDOM

HOSEA 4:6...My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...This statement is true , we all know everything written in the bible is true, Most Christians are not even familiar with the term, nor do they know how to recognize the symptoms.
I have read various definition of the word passivity, in my own terms i will say it is lack of feeling, a lack of desire, laziness.

Evil spirit are behind passivity.
The enemy of our soul the devil kmows truly that practice makes perfect the devil knows that inactivity,failure to exercise the will, will spell the believers ultimate defeat.
However, if he enters into a state of passitivity,he is in serious trouble.
A believer who has a passive mind and who does not resist these wrong thoughts often takes them as his own thought.
The only way to keep wrong thought out is to keep your mind full of right thought.when the devil is cast out of a soul he goes wander in dry places. When he returns, the bible says in Luke that he comes back, brings others with him and the person's last condition is worse than his first. In order to avoid this we must study the word of God and pray without season.

When a believer is inactive even in an area in which he has gift or talent an he/she those nothing about that particular area, that particular talent begins to wither away. The longer he does nothin, the less he wants to do anything.
I urge you my christian brothers and sisters to change our behavior, we can do that by changing our thoughts.because our actions are the direct results of our thought.
Ask for God's help by saying this prayer. Answer me speedily, O Lord, for my spirit fails; hide not your face from me, lest i become like those who go down into the pit...Psalm 143:7

BELIEVE IN MIRACLES

Some people are afraid to hope because
they have been hurt so much in life. This avoidance of hope is a type of protection against being hurt. Disappointment hurt! So rather than be hurt again, many people simply refuse to hope or believe that anything good will ever happen to them.
I was once a victim of this circumstance until i really began to study the word and to trust God to restore me. Mind you this doesn't mean that you and i can get anything we want by just thinking about it, we have to work hard towards  achieving it. God has a perfect plan for each of us, and we can't Him with our thoughts and words, But, we must think and speak in agreement with His will through the direction of the holy spirit.
Begin to think positive about your life.
Even if whatever is taking place in your life at the moment is not so good, except God to bring good out of it, as He has promised in His Word.

God's Holy Word is filled with excellent advice. It teaches men how to live and is our guide to that heavenly home. It is necessary to believe and receive all the Word of God in our hearts, and not take exception to any portion of Scripture. we are explicitly informed that the whole Word of God is necessary and sufficient to provide all a passport into Glory.
Many times when we are seeking something from God, pleading before the throne, it would do us well to remember His admonition to praise.
God loves praise and will honour the one who thus exalts His Holy Name.

PEOPLE WERE RUNING UP AND DOWN;THE DAY SUNDENLY TURNS DARK,THERE WAS NO SUN,MOON OR STARS IN THE SKY. ALL I SAW WAS A RED CLOUD. WOT A WONDER!!! PEOPLE WERE CRYING,SHOUTING,SOME WERE SHOUTING''JESUS WHERE ARE U''. SOME WERE PRAYING;YET ALL WERE IN FURTILE. I TOOK OFF AT MY HEEL IN RUNING,I WAS PRAYING THAT THIS SHOULD ONLY BE A DREAM; THAT WAS WHEN A VOICE SAID TO ME ''THIS IS HOW THE EARTH WOULD BE ON THE DAY OF RAPTURE. AS YOU ARE RUNING,TELL YOUR FELLOW MEN THAT I AM COMING SOON. I HAVE STOPED MY FATHER SEVERAL TIMES AND ONE DAY HE WILL BE UNSTOPABLE;HE IS VERY ANGRY WITH HUMANITY. Do All Religions Teach the Truth?

ALMOST everyone in Africa agrees that it is important to worship God. But, there is little agreement about how to worship him. Some worship at a mosque,

and others attend a church but it would be wrong to think that there are only three religions in Africa. But the one true way is in Christ jesus, because jesus said no man comes to the father except through me, we can also learn the truth about GOD if we go through the Bible:

Surely, in view of all the different ideas about God, we need a way to know what is true.
To illustrate even further: Suppose that there is an argument at the market about the length of a piece of cloth. The seller says the cloth is three yards, but the buyer thinks is less than that how can the matter be resolved? By measuring the cloth with a yardstick. So is there a yardstick for deciding religious matters? Yes, it is the Bible. God had the Bible written so that people throughout is creation can learn the truth about him.
The Bible is a precious gift from God. It explains things that we could otherwise never know. It tells of the dealings with people over thousands of years. It talks of things that will happen in the future,which we can all testify to the things we've read in the past which is happening now just as the Bible prophesied.
AND IT SHOWS HOW WE THE LIVING CAN FIND THE ROAD TO EVERLASTING LIFE.
